Polar Animals

Ice Ice Baby... today we explored Ice! We did a Science experiment will it slide? They chose toys to see if it would slide on the ice. We painted ice with water color paint, and made ice melt using water, salt, and warm water. Here is the song we have been singing this week.

I’m a Little Penguin

(Tune: “I’m a Little Teapot“)

I’m a little penguin, black and white.
I waddle to the left and I waddle to the right.
I can't fly but I can swim.
So I waddle to the water and jump right in!

Polar Animals

We are back after our 2 snow days! This week we will be learning about Polar Animals, and our letter of the week is W. We looked at a Polar Animals book and talked about the animals in the book. We learned a Penuin song and our letter W in sign language. For table time we made snowy owls.

Special Visitors

Today we had a morning of special visitors. Our VIPs dad and GiGi joined us for morning play time, breakfast, and dance time and then her Uncle Larry that works for the Missouri Department of Conservation brought in some of his animals to share with the kiddos. Thank you so much for spending time with us this morning!!
REMINDER-PLA is open on Monday for a snow make-up day!
