Dads

Last week we celebrated the dads in our life. On Thursday our dad's were invited to join us for donuts with dad. Thank you to the dads and mom that were able to join us.

Bugs

Last week we learned about bugs. We learned that all insects have 3 body parts and 6 legs. Spiders and scorpions are not insects, but arachnids. We talked about how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. We talked about stinging, biting, buzzing, crawling, and fun to look at bugs. We talked about helpful bugs and bugs that you want to stay away from. We painted, made caterpillars,  made and played with play dough and sidewalk chalk paint with cornstarch, water, and a little food coloring. 

Summer Fun

Last week we talked about fun things we like to do in the Summer. We read books about watermelons, ice cream, and flowers. We painted with flowers, made watermelon art, painted with puffy paint ice cream, played in the water, played with play dough, and had a lot of fun playing and creating! This week we are learning about bugs!
