Chinese New Year

We read Chopsticks, and played Chinese Zodiac charades. They are getting very good at this game!! We worked together painting a large sheet of paper that will become a big dragon! Our VIP shared one of his favorite toys, we read the letter from his mommy, and his Gigi came in for a visit. She brought us some large boxes and helped us turn them into forts. The kiddos had so much fun playing and decorating them! Thanks Gigi for coming  and thank you for the blueberries, too!
We welcomed a new friend today, his sister and cousin graduated from PLA and we have been waiting for him to turn 2 so he could join us! We also celebrated a Birthday!

Chinese New Year

We read My First Chinese New Year. The kiddos wanted to see China on the globe, and we learned a new song Gung Hay Fat Choy. Follow the link on our Facebook page to sing along with your child! We played Chinese New Year charades using the animals from the Chinese Zodiac.
For table time we practiced our cutting skills and made chinese lanterns.
