Friday we had another long discussion of things we can do to help our Earth! So many wonderful ideas and of course lots of off topic talk too! I love our group discussions! ♡ We dot painted paper plates and they will turn them into something... or not. I thought we might need more filler for the parade float, but he didn't : up to the Dr seuss not using them. Our VIP'S mommy joined us for lunch. Thank you for spending your lunch with us!!
We had special visitors to talk to the kiddos about water safety and the importance of wearing your life jacket, especially around the lake. I posted pictures on our Facebook page. We made Seuss fish to add to our parade float.
Wednesday we made coffee filter flowers that we used to decorate our float. Our VIP shared his adventures with Norman and some of his favorite toys.
This week we are learning about Earth Day and we are also getting ready for the Dogwood Parade. Tuesday we talked about what Earth is and we also discussed the country, state, and town we all live in. For table time we made art with our paper scrap box. Our VIP shared his poster, family letter, and some of his favorite things.
Thank you PLA Families for making our Easter Egg Hunt so much fun!! I posted our egg hunt pics on our Facebook page. We had a great day with lots of free play! Our VIP'S mommy and sister came in to hang out with the kiddos before our Egg Hunt. Thank you for coming! We hope you all have a wonderful Easter and enjoy our Spring Break!
