We have been busy getting ready for our mom/grandma's special lunch! We have also had a little extra excitement with our eggs beginning to hatch! Our VIP'S mom came in Wednesday morning to do a special craft with us. Thank you for the name bracelets! They had so much fun beading with you! This week we have been working on surprises for mommy/grandma, so our pictures will be of our play! Today we read Llama Llama Mad at Mama. We also learned a sweet song to sing to our mom/grandma at our Friday lunch! We hope you will be able to join us!
This week we will be celebrating moms and grandmas!! We will be ending the week with a special Mother's Day lunch. Our VIP shared her poster and her mommy joined us for breakfast, read one of her favorite books, and hung out with us this morning. Thanks for coming! We made beautiful watercolor art today!
We read Diary of a Worm. We also talked about Cinco De Mayo at calendar time. We counted to 5 in Spanish and looked up Mexico on the globe. For lunch we had burritos and for snack we tried guacamole. At Table time we finger painted on the table with brown "dirt" and drew worms with our finger. We made prints of our worms by rubbing a piece of paper on the wet paint.
