Dinosaurs

We read a book called Roar, about a dinosaur that goes to school.  I asked the kids if this is a real story or a pretend story and one of the little boys surprised me with his answer "Not real, dinosaurs are extinct!"  We also learned a big word Paleontologist!  We talked about what being extinct means and how we know that dinosaurs really did exist.   We practiced our E in sign language and wrote it in shaving cream.  We also painted with plastic dinosaurs!
