We read Is It Hanukkah Yet? We made and ate latkes. All the kiddos tried them, only 1 didn't like it, and most asked for seconds! I posted the recipe we used. One of our kiddos wanted to know why the peeled potatoes needed to be in water. So, we did a little science experiment and put a piece of potato in a cup with no water and a piece in a cup of water. They watched it all day to see the one with no water turn brown and yucky!
