Hibernation and Migration

When frogs hibernate they sleep deep down in the mud. Today, we sorted color frogs and finger painted with brown "mud" and frogs!

Hibernation and Migration

We learned the difference between hibernation and migration. We read a book called All About Hibernation. Our letter this week is C. We learned C in sign language and tapped out the C song from our ABC CD. For table time we made snowy cave art. Our VIP shared her poster and one of her favorite items from home.

Chinese New Year

Friday, we used our instruments for music time again, because it was so much fun on Thursday. We finished making our big group project dragon. We had feathers and streamers all over the place, but we also had the best clean up crew! We enjoyed delicious Chinese food for lunch most of the week, and for snack today we had oranges (considered good luck in China) and pocky (a sweet treat from China, chocolate covered cracker sticks).
