Tuesday we read Snowmen at Night. This book explains in a funny, imaginative way why your snowman might look a little different when you wake up in the morning. He may have been drinking cold cocoa with his friends, or she may have been sledding down a big hill! We made Snowmen at Night art with black construction paper, white puffy paint (shaving cream and glue), circle jewels, and orange foam triangles. We tried to play outside in the morning, but when the wind picked up the slide I thought it was safer to play in the Motor Room, but we did get to go out this afternoon. Our VIP shared some of his favorite toys and we learned our letter of the week, X, in sign language.
