We read The Rain Came Down. In the book the rain made everyone grumpy, but when the sun came out everyone's mood was much better. The kiddos did not agree with this, and said the love rain... but not thunderstorms!! I'm not so sure they love rainy days when it keeps them from going to the playground!!
We made color resistant rain paintings. We used a white crayon to draw rain and then painted over it with watered down paint. The crayon resisted the paint and showed our raindrops! We also had a kiddo lose a tooth this morning during breakfast!
