Today was all about rain! We read Raindrops Fall All Around. We did a science experiment to show how it rains. We added a shaving cream cloud to a jar of water. The kiddos then added blue liquid watercolor drops on to the cloud. When the clouds soaked up too much water it started raining! We dropped watered down paint on coffee filter rain drops and did an estimation project. How many raindrops will fill up each circle? They loved all of the dropper projects. Some of the kiddos weren't ready to give up their droppers so we made a rain sensory tub for them to play in.
