Thursday we read Tops and Bottoms by Janet Stevens. Another one of my favorites about a smart, hard working hare and a lazy bear! For our group activity we went out to the front of the building and planted the wild flowers Big Emilea received from Honey Nut Cherrios. We had to be very good listeners and stay close... they did an awesome job! Our VIP shared his poster, letter, and one of his favorite toys. His grandma and baby cousin came in to read some of his favorite books and had lunch with us. It was also his Birthday so his mom and grandma came in to have Birthday cookies with us. Thank you all for coming and making his day so special!
