Summer

Thursday we read Ballpark and talked about fun places to visit in the Summer. We painted using paint dobbers, watercolor, and regular paint. Some of the kiddos painted with 1 some painted with all 3.

Summer

Wednesday we made a list of our favorite Summer time foods. At table time we painted a slice of watermelon. We also enjoyed a lot of play time!

Summer

This week we are talking about Summer and Kindergarten. Today, we read Summer Days, Summer Nights. We made a list of some of our favorite things to do in the summer and the popular answer was swimming. We took our art time outside and created with chalk, water and paintbrushes.

Ponds

This week we are learning about ponds. Today we named everything you might see while visiting a pond. We then sang and acted out "5 Green and Speckled Frogs." We drew pictures at table time. Some of the children are sending their pictures to our friend Kylie that moved to Florida. She wrote us a letter and sent us seashells.

Nursery Rhymes and Graduation

Last week our theme was Nursery Rhymes and we also spent our week getting ready for Graduation. Our VIP shared some of her favorite things, her poster, and her Adventures with Norman. It was a great week and Graduation was wonderful. I am so proud of our Class of 2016. They did an amazing job!
