Fire Safety

We read The Gingerbread Man Loose on the Fire Truck. We also talked about if there was a fire in your house to get out and do not go back in for anything. It is also important to have a meeting spot to go to and wait for mom and dad. Most of the kiddos said they didn't know where their meeting place would be, so it might be a good week to talk about a safe outside meeting spot. We also learned that smoke rises and it is important to try to get outside under the smoke if possible. We practiced crawling to safety through our tunnel! We also celebrated a Birthday today!! Thank you for the special lunch and Birthday cake!
