Today we talked about rain. We read one of our nonfiction books called Rain and another book called The Rain Came Down. Mother Nature gave us some of the wet stuff today too! We learned that rain is formed by water droplets in the cloud. The cloud gets so heavy that the rain falls down. We made it rain in a jar... we added water and shaving cream, we slowly added blue watercolor until the "cloud" got so heavy that the "rain" fell down. We used our water table and pretended that sponges were clouds and we made our own rain. We also welcomed a new friend into our PLA Family today!
